El actual presidente de WABBA Gerhard Neumer inicia su actividad en el cargo realizando unas modificaciones en ls categorías de los competidores masculinos que se votaron en el último Congreso Mundial de WABBA.

Estas nuevas categorías son:

- Talla Baja: hasta 169,9 cm.
- Talla Media: de 168 cm. a 173,9 cm.
- Talla Alta: de 174 cm. a 179,9 cm.
- Talla Superalta: más de 180 cm.

En la nota de prensa emitida por la presidencia de WABBA World dice:

"As the president of W.A.B.B.A. World federation I determine the following:

at the voting in the last years' world congress I found out that 3 countries voting with us (Ukraine, Slovenia and Czech Republic) had no voting right. Consequently, the result of the above mentioned voting about the introducing of the 4 bodybuilding categories 7-5 in favour of accepting the introduction. It means that the 4 categories will be introduced.
The 4 new categories are:

1. SMALL CATEGORY: up to 167,9 cm

2. MEDIUM CATEGORY: 168 cm- 173,9 cm

3. TALL CATEGORY: 174 cm- 179,9 cm

4. X TALL CATEGORY: from 180 cm.
